Materials: Rolling stairway filled with the Flight’s Archival Folders of Olympic Airways

Location: Former Athens Airport “Hellinikon”, Athens, Greece. 

Abandoned archives of an air-company that closed because of bankruptcy. Over 1500 folders with names, tickets, flight plans and time tables. An airport that is now empty, The speakers are silent. No traffic, no announcements, all departures and arrivals canceled. A mechanical ladder (rolling stairway) that can leads us to nowhere. We lost the opportunity to fly. We must stay grounded.
